Blind/Visually Impaired

National Federation for the Blind All scholarships are awarded for academic excellence, community service, and financial need.
Council of Citizens with Low Visibility International The Council of Citizens with Low Vision International offers two scholarship programs
American Foundation for the Blind AFD provides multiple scholarships.
American Council for the Blind ACB sponsors multiple scholarships. Check with ACB for further requirements.
Lighthouse International The Lighthouse Scholarships & Career Awards help students and employed individuals who are visually impaired fulfill their dreams of higher education and success in the workplace. Deadline Feb. 28, 2008

Deaf/Hearing Impaired

Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf The AG Bell Financial Aid and Scholarship Program offers four awards to help with funding.
Minnie Pearl Scholarship Each year our scholarship recipients stand out in their college community, but it's not for the reasons you think.  While each recipient is severely to profoundly deaf in both ears, they excel academically, socially and more!
IADES Fellowship Award The student must be deaf, have completed 12 or more credits in a doctoral program at an accredited institution of higher education, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

General Disabilities

Incight Scholarship $750 that is renewable for 4 years. Must have a documented disability. Applications due April 1st, 2009
ELA Foundation Program grants from the ELA Foundation range from $1,000 to $5,000
Stanley E. Jackson Award Eight $500 scholarships awarded to students with a disability.
Vocational Rehabilitation Funding and support varies depending upon needs of the individual as determined by accredited institution.
